Mudlark
'77
One
day, back in 1997, Linda found an old roll of black and white
film. We had no idea what was on it, so we figured "what
the heck, let's go ahead and get them developed". When we
opened the envelope to see the photos, we were floored. They were
black and white pictures of Mudlark from 1977! They were
in a drawer for about 20 years. These photos were taken in a bedroom
in Albert's house, which was a very old house located off of Route
606 in Herndon, Virginia. The house is long gone. Sadly, Albert
is also gone. I'll tell you once again, I love all of the people
on this page, friends first, band members second.
Kelly
Elder - Singer extraordinaire, a true character. Thanks to classmates.com,
I was able to locate Kelly by contacting his sister. He is now
in Florida.
Jim
Miner - Rhythm guitar. True friend. I knew Jim for 13 years when
these photos were taken, now I've known him for 27 more years.
Jim is living in North Carolina now but he remains very close
to my heart.
Greg
Smallwood - Probably the best all-around musician I have ever
played with. Great guitar player, great keyboard player. Great
friend. Greg moved to Florida years ago and just pased away in
2011. Greg, we will always miss you very much.
Albert
Sudduth - Bass Guitar. One of the kindest people I've ever known.
Albert passed away quite a ways back. Everyone misses Albert very
much and the world was a richer place with him in it.
Kelly
being cool, it came naturally.
Kelly
on stage! This is one of the nights Kelly had four arms.
Jim.
A true friend.

Greg.
Too bad you can't hear his slide guitar, it would make you cry.
That would be a good cry.
Sweet
Albert. A true "nice guy".
Me with
dark hair!
Me,
playing the same drums I'm playing today.
